Free Me
She remains a slave
Wid ‘em cuffs on her hands
She writhes in pain
Bathed in her tears
Enslaved by her desires
Drowning in her guilt
A sure anchor she seeks
From the chains so tight
From the chains so tight
She desires to be freed
From the yoke so heavy
She asks it be lifted off
From the lust so blinding
She craves for sight
From the guilt, so weary
She desires to be free
On her knees she goes
Her weakness becomes her strength,
What a sight behold
Conquered, by sorrow so mighty
She finds her life in Him
Words seem so scarce
She groans the more to Him,
Pouring out her soul
She finds a treasure
The wonders of His wisdom
The Lord’s dwelling place is
with the contrite and lowly,
A sacrifice she offers
Her broken spirit begs,
Lord, mercy to a sinner
Mercy from the chains, the yoke, the lust and the guilt
